Journal Update 04/17/2021
A lamentable update to my previous Journal: As even most "educated" people nowadays are misinformed if not ignorant about what the words/terms capitalism, socialism, communism, and even fascism intrinsically mean (though most do realize fascism equates with dictatorship) allow me a brief elucidation, if I may. These various systems are not so much political ideologies of government as they are economic principled systems, albeit the two are inexorably intertwined. Capitalists in the 19th Century loathed Marx’s ideas, of course (still do), notwithstanding his criticisms of its abuses were true. But with the advent of the 20th Century and all the governments/countries since calling themselves socialist or communist being in reality oppressive dictatorships, the words/terms understandably became understood as synonyms for tyranny, and particularly in capitalist democratic countries/societies where the propaganda insured it.
